NY State Police Exam Application Deadline is Friday

The New York State Police are looking to gather a list of potential recruits for the next four years. The deadline to apply for the exam is this Friday!

The exam for 2017 will take place this October and will be held at several locations around New York. According to reports, this will be the only exam that will be held to be a NYS Trooper for some time.

After graduation, the new troopers will make more than 70-thousand-dollars a year.

The NYS Police site indicates:

Applying to become a New York State Trooper is a long process and one that demands your full attention as well as your patience. Our hiring list is typically in effect for 3 to 4 years and we have reached candidates ranked in upwards of 16,500 in the past. This means that even if you do not hear from us immediately after the exam, it does not mean that you will never hear from us.
