October Is National Dessert Month

Over and above National Breast Cancer Awareness month, October also recognizes some other things – some of them a little more pleasant like National Dessert Month, National Cookie Month and National Caramel Month.

This month also includes Caramel Custard Day, Angel Food Cupcake Day, Monday was Dessert Day, Chocolate Cupcake Day is Friday and Boston Crème Pie Day is next week.

National Chocolate Day is October 28th and we even celebrate the worst of all candies….Candy Corn day is October 30th.

And appropriately Sweetest Day is this Saturday and at the end of the month we hand out candy as treats on Halloween.
