A story this week in the Buffalo News stated the opening now could come at the end of 2018 or early in 2019.  The company owners wouldn't give a specific reason for the delay, but it appears there's been some delay with paper work before a work permit can be issued.

The site of the new restaurant is on the property of the former Famous Dave's on Walden Avenue across from Target.  That place was torn down several months ago and the land has sat vacant ever since.

I just hope once the first Buffalo Chik-fil-A opens it'll be followed by more because that place will be busy.  When a Chik-fil-A opened in Rockville, MD about two years ago the lines were out the door.  For chicken?  Wait until you try it.  Then you'll understand what all the fuss is about.
