David Ball turned 62 on Thursday (7/9) and is one of country music's most overlooked stars. You may have heard his hits "Drinkin' Problem" or "Riding With Private Malone," but David Ball has much more to offer.

As the sound of country music has changed to a hip-hop/rock, artists like David Ball have been lost in the shuffle. Let's face it, things progress, and the beauty of country music has been it's ability to flex and move forward with the times. It's part of the reason that it remains the most programed genre/format of music on radio today.
