As I sit here in the beginning of January surfing the web, I'm thinking two things as I come across the news that Beyonce's baby was born. First: Why on earth is it still 40 degrees outside and secondly, I'm thinking about how Beyonce's poor baby has to call herself Blue Ivy for the rest of her life. Why on earth wouldn't a simple John, Christina or Mary work?

Christmas is full of familiar traditions: carving the ham, leaving cookies out for Santa, listening to Uncle Morty talk about his gall bladder removal surgery while you’re trying to enjoy some egg nog. The packaging, the disc itself and the dynamic modern country sound are purely American. Ricky took several years developing "Ordinary Man" to deliver an album that hits hard and leaves you wanting more. Songs like "Crazy Bout You" and "You Won't Be Lonely Long" pave the way for Ricky's place alongside today's country stars.

It wasn't until well after the game did a video replay show Hull's skate was in the crease.
