Celebrate Veterans Day in Buffalo

The words "American" and "freedom" are synonymous with each other. If the freedoms we possess were gone, we would, in essence, not be Americans. Therefore, it is extremely important to observe and celebrate the freedoms we have and honor those who fought to gain and retain those freedoms.

Regardless of the weather, heat, cold, rain, snow or even hurricane, members of the Army’s 3rd Infantry Regiment “The Old Guard” have guarded the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Washington for 24 hours a day, 365 days a year since April 6th, 1948.
