Pat Robertson’s Controversial Statement On Divorce

By: Mario Tama Getty Images News

MSN.com reported that TV evangelist Pat Robertson said “It would be OK to divorce, if a spouse suffered from Alzheimer’s disease.

When questioned about the traditional marriage vows, Robertson said, “If you respect that vow, you say ’til death do us part,’ this is a kind of death.”

Hey Pat, that’s all fine and dandy but there is a small line before that phrase and it reads:

“to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health…”.

Hey Pat, you may now kiss your foot.
