I’m sure by now we all know the situation with Penn State University and Jerry Sandusky.  It’s been all over the news for the past 2 weeks.  Allegations of possible child molestation  in the showers yada yada…  The guy who supposedly saw the incident- Coach Mike McQueary was interviewed by CBS’s Evening News.  One of his e-mail’s (written last week) regarding the situation was obtained by the Associated Press.  Both of which you can see here….

The e-mail read as follows (remember I am taking this off which took it from the AP)

Keep in mind, it is not clear who McQueary sent this to…possibly a reporter

McQueary– on how he’s getting “hammered” for his claims that he stopped the 2002 shower incident

” You are the first person I have told of this….and I don’t know you extremely well…and I have been told by officials not to say anything….”

” I did stop it, not physically…but made sure it was stopped when I left that locker room…I did have discussions with the official at the university in charge of police….no one can imagine my thoughts or wants to be in my shoes for those 30 to 45 seconds…trust me…”

” Do with this what you want…but I am getting hammered for handling this the right way…or what I thought at the time was right…I had to make tough impacting quick decisions.”

“This is off record… again…I have not and will not say anything to anyone else.”
