I think it's fair to say that when people think about New York City, they think about a fast moving, rough, sometimes rude population.  However, this video from  Improve Everywhere  goes out of its way to show that there are people in New York that have something nice to say.

You may remember the Mp3 Experiment video that I posted about a month ago where people were given random instructions in a "flash mob" style of experiment.  This is the opposite of that.

The only instruction that is given here was from a sign that was placed on a wooden lecturn that said, "Say Something Nice."  The lecturn had a megaphone attached to it so that the random compliments could be amplified and it was rolled to a few spots in New York City.  What follows are some of the comments that were recorded when it was left alone.
