Pizza Madness

When I first moved to Buffalo about 12 years ago, anytime I’d order pizza with ham and mushroom, I’d get a funny look. I guess my choice for toppings wasn't as popular as the traditional pepperoni pizza that in my opinion is overrated. The thing about pizza, though, is everybody has their favorite toppings, and it’s not just pepperoni and ham -- its Hawaiian style, Sicilian -- you name the topping and you can pretty much get it on your pizza.Last night at the UB Center for the Arts, WYRK hosted our first ever Pizza Madness, and it’s all about the pizza.  Area pizza places including Mr. Pizza from the Boulevard, Pizza Amore, La Nova, Santora’s, Bocce Club and Vinny’s served up slices of their finest pizza.
