It has always been a running joke with people who would get caught with a Playboy magazine in their possession that they were just "reading it for the articles."

Now, we're going to find out if people still "read it only for the articles" and not for the pictures of naked women when they stop publishing nude photos in their magazine in March of 2016.

Yes, you read that right.  They will no longer feature pictures of naked women in their magazine.  Their reasoning for getting rid of what made the magazine such an eye opener in the first place?  Essentially they said that with the internet being so accessible, people can find naked women for free, much easier than ever before.

They will still have photos of women in provocative poses, they will just no longer be nude.

They admitted that the new look to the mag is due to the success of the transition of the website from a nude site to a non-nude website.

The publication said in a statement that "tens of millions of readers" continued to come to the "non-nude website and app every month for, yes, photos of beautiful women, but also for articles and videos from our humor, sex and culture ... sections."

Now we will see if people were being truthful when they said they just read it for the articles.
