It's a simple picture, but when you find out the story behind it you can't help get a lump in your throat.  It shows a Brighton, Colorado, police officer holding a young girl following a rollover accident, a crash that claimed the life of the little girl's father and injured her mother, brothers and sisters.

Nick Struck was one of the police officers who responded to the accident call earlier this week and had been told children were involved.  Officer Struck said whenever they get a call involving children they can't help but think of their own children.

He said when his own daughter falls down and gets hurt he sings "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" and it makes her feel better.  That's what he did with the two-year-old girl who was pulled from the wreckage, and it seemed to calm her down.

Brighton Police issued a statement that they're "proud of the men and women in their department".  Good work, officer Struck.
