For anyone who thinks poorly of police officers, this may just change your mind.

NYPD officer Carlos Ramos was caught giving a homeless man the sweatshirt off of his own back. The homeless man was barefoot and did not want to go to a shelter.

Ramos was patrolling Manhattan, and the man's boots had gotten wet, so he was trying to tear off a piece of his shirt to wrap around his feet. The homeless man at first would not accept the sweatshirt but eventually accepted it.

The part that hit the officer? The homeless man was worried about Ramos being cold when he was giving up his sweater.

What have you done this holiday season to help someone else? I challenge you to.
