My love of trains goes back to my childhood when my dad got me a Lionel train set when I was 12. One of my uncles then gave his kid's Lionel set when I was 13 and eventually we had a huge set-up in the basement. Since then I have always been fascinated with trains. I love to watch trains. I like the way they look and the sounds they make. I would like to see the Central Terminal restored, but that will be the subject of another future blog. Have you ever heard of the term "railfanning"? Probably not. I don't even know it is really a word, but it is used often by train enthusiasts. Basically, railfanning is when rail fans venture out and either photograph or shoot video of real trains in action. This video was shot in Buffalo and Depew last year on Easter weekend. Check it out and let us know what you think about railfanning.
