Last night (September 30), fans filled the UB Center for the Arts to watch the WYRK Fall Acoustic concert starring Josh Thompson, Randy Houser and Andy Gibson.  I was very excited to see these three gentlemen play in this setting.

Each of them have a great stage presence a brought their own style to the table.  This guitar pull setting is probably my favorite type of concert because the artists are able to connect with us on such an intimate level.

WYRK’s digital team was able to get the story behind the performers hits.

First, Randy Houser talks about how his new single, “How Country Feels,” came about. This is one of the few songs that Randy didn’t write.

The song “Beer on the Table” was Josh Thompson’s first release; Josh shares how the song came to be when he was a struggling songwriter.

Andy Gibson co-wrote “Don’t You Wanna Stay,” made famous by Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson. This song has become the biggest-selling download by a duet.
