I guess it was about three years ago now that Wendy Lynn, the program director for WYRK came to my office and said "come on outside with me, there's a country artist that wants to meet us". We walked outside to a tour bus across the street and climbed aboard. A very large guy met us inside and said "Hi Y'all, I'm Randy Houser". We talked a while and Randy began to play a couple of songs that he was hoping would make it on to the country charts. Those songs were 'Boots on' and 'Anything Goes'. We have a lot of artists stop by WYRK to see us and I could tell right away that this guy would make it someday. Well it wasn't but several months later that Randy's songs started to be played on Country Music stations across the country.
