When the going's good, why not keep it going? Rascal Flatts and rock band Journey announced plans to perform a one-night-only show at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pa. on Aug. 1. Due to the incredible fan response to that date, the bands have added a second show.

The added date on on Aug. 4 in Atlantic City makes a two-nights-only stand featuring the two cornerstones of their respective genres. It's the ultimate live mashup.

The second show will take place at Boardwalk Hall in A.C., which is recovering nicely from last October's Hurricane Sandy. The show will feature 'The Voice' Season 3 winner Cassadee Pope on the bill. Tickets are slated to go on sale on Friday, May 10 at 10AM. They're bound to go fast, so get 'em while you can.

The Flatts and the rockers have a history of performing together. They did so at the 2012 CMT Music Awards, closing the night by performing Journey's 'Don't Stop Believin'.' They also filmed a special edition of 'CMT Crossroads' for that series during Super Bowl XLVII festivities earlier this year.

Now they are taking the show on the road for a pair of East Coast gigs.

Maybe this will lead to a full-scale tour sometime down the road, since the pairing is this quality and the fans are reacting. You never know!
