I forgot that the 1994 Disney movie The Lion King was being re-released in 3D until today and I read that it topped the weekend Box Office!

I was surprised when I realized that the Lion King movie came out in 1994. I was 12 years old when the movie came out. I enjoyed the movie as a 12 year old and now I have a 4 year old daughter that I can take her to see the movie. Amazing how much time flies when you're having fun! If you went to see the movie over the weekend I would love to hear your thoughts on it.

The "Lion King 3D" again came in at number one bringing in 23.9 million dollars, followed by "Contagion" with 14.5 million, "Drive" with 11 million dollars, "The Help" brought in 6.4 million dollars and number five was "Straw Dogs" with 5 million dollars. "Lion King 3D" had a HUGE weekend and will no doubt have a few more big weekends. Maybe Disney should make all older movies into 3D and re-release them, they are all classics and there's a new generation that could enjoy all of these great movies.
