If you need to work on both ends of New York State and have seen enough of the Thruway, you're in luck. Looks like there may soon be a more convenient option for commuters.

According to a report in The Buffalo News: Direct flights between Buffalo to Albany ended seven years ago but OneJet Airlines says they're looking at restoring service between the two airports.

The airline said they couldn't confirm anything, but said they're strongly considering direct flights to Albany. This would be a breath of fresh air for anyone going to the state capital for business. Although the drive is scenic, if you have ever driven the stretch from west to east along the Thruway you know how it can get boring after a few trips.
