According to AOL's The Boot , Reba and Blake Shelton wanted to show their support to the people of Oklahoma. During a two night event, the pair raised $500,000 for the tornado victims of the area. The event took place at the Choctaw Events Center in Durant, Okla. May 25 and 26. This two night event was only meant to be a one-night.  However, when the show sold-out in less then two hours, they knew they needed to add another night. Reba stated in a interview with Oklahoman newspaper "We wanted to do something and let the people in Oklahoma know that we love them and we're praying for them during this difficult tragedy."  Blake stated "Oklahoma defines who I am and seeing the effects this disaster has had on my neighbors, I knew I had to do something," .  All proceeds are going to the Tushka Disaster Relief Fund.
