Reba and Blake Shelton to Host Tornado Relief Concert

As people in Western New York deal with extremely windy conditions and power outages I can’t help but think about the folks in Alabama who are dealing with the aftermath of those devastating Tornado’s.  My thoughts and prayers go out to all who have suffered due to the crazy weather in recent weeks.

According to MusicRow, two of country music’s biggest artists Reba and Blake Shelton who are Oklahoma natives have decided to host a Tornado Relief Concert in May to help the victims of the storms.  In addition to the proceeds raised from the concert, a special mobile fundraising campaign has been set up.  Fans can text “OKGIVE” to 27722 to make a one-time $10 donation.  Once again, country music fans and artist are stepping up to help those in need. It’s just heartbreaking seeing all the recent tragedies….the Japanese earthquake and tsunami, the recent tornado’s in the US, lets pray for better days ahead.
