Red Flag Fire Warning In Western New York

It's something you don't hear around here very often - a Red Flag Fire Warning.  What's that?  It means any outdoor fire has the potential to grow and spread rapidly.

According to the National Weather Service today's low humidity as low as 25%, combined with winds gusting up to 50 mph at times has explosive fire growth potential.  The Red Flag Warning is in effect from 11 am to 6 pm today for Western New York, the Genesee Valley and the Finger Lakes region.
