Rescue a Pet Today – National Love Your Pet Day!

My sister Lisa has been without a dog for about 3 years and was ready to adopt this past weekend.  She had a golden who was near and dear to our families hearts that passed away about 3 years ago so it took a little time for her to be ready to bring a new friend into her home.

But now that she was ready, she knew that rescuing a dog that needed a new home was the way to go!  Meet Rosie a year and half year old Shepherd mix and we say she's mixed with Saint Bernard because shes a gentle giant.

Rosie was rescued by Joy Rescues and she's doing really well adapting to her new home with my sister, she loves her new bed
