Ridiculous?! Guy Got A Ticket For Doing This–Should Police Ticket For This?

You be the judge! During Clay + Company this morning, we debated this on the air and MORE people decided and called in to say that it is NOT littering. What do you say?

A man is fighting a $180 littering fine after Police wrote him a ticket for tossing an apple core out his car window. He was parked on the street when he whipped it out of his window.

According to Florida law, ANYTHING tossed out the window is considered litter no matter the make up of the item.

The man is fighting the ticket citing that the Apple Core is biodegradable and will be gone in a couple of days.

Should he have gotten a ticket? Is it littering?
