When the new ownership team of the Buffalo Sabres came to Buffalo, they wanted to make sure that the entire NHL looked at this city as "Hockey Heaven."  Their goal was for players to WANT to come here to play hockey.  Just a couple months after that statement, a player has waived a no-trade clause in his contract to come here. The deal was announced this weekend during the draft that The Buffalo Sabres had traded defenseman Chris Butler and forward Paul Byron to the Calgary Flames for defenseman Robyn Regehr,  forward and former Sabre Ales Kotalik, and a second round 2012 draft pick.
