I can’t believe Christmas is on Sunday already!  Without the snow I feel like its still October!  I’m sure everyone out there has finished their holiday shopping so now all that’s left is having some fun until Christmas!

On Wednesday at the Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve is their Winter Solstice Walk.  Spend the evening with others on a walk during the first night of winter.  (See we might not have had snow yet but it’s because Mother Nature is just waiting for the first night of winter to turn on the snow!)  If they are lucky though there will be snowshoes available to run if there have enough snow.  At this point it doesn’t look like it but its Buffalo so you really never know!  The Winter Solstice Walk is from 5:30pm to 7:30p at the Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve on Honorine Drive in Depew.

Another holiday favorite of mine is Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer!  Seriously who does not think that Reindeer is absolutely adorable with a light up red nose!  Head over to the Lancaster Opera house and see the heartwarming holiday classic story of our favorite little Reindeer Rudolph.  Join Rudolph and all of his reindeer friends along with Santa and Mrs. Claus for a live stage performance.  The movie is amazing but seeing a live performance of this show is even more incredible!  While you’re watching the performance you’ll even get to participate in reindeer games!  The show runs Mon, Tues, Wed at 7p and Sat and Sun at 11am and 2pm at the Lancaster Opera House.
