The new front office of the Sabres said that they would be aggressive this offseason.  They’ve backed up that promise by acquiring the rights to former Vancouver Canucks defenseman Christian Ehrhoff.

According to  The Buffalo News , the Sabres have until Friday to sign the 6’2″, 203 lb defenseman before he becomes available to the rest of the 30 teams in the NHL.

“Getting the right players is key for your game plan,” — Terry Pegula

This past year Ehrhoff tallied 36 assists and 50 points with the Canucks.
