Finally - the Sabres win a game on the road for the first time in a month.  Nathan Gerbe's shootout goal gave the Sabres a 2 to 1 win over the Devils in New Jersey last night.  Jason Pominville also scored in the shootout while Jordan Leopold scored in regulation.  Ryan Miller was easily the best player on the ice making 27 saves including four in overtime.

The Sabres victory ends a 12-game losing streak on the  road and it comes just before the All-Star break.  Jason Pominville will be the Sabres' lone representative for the game in Ottawa while Luke Adam was selected to the All-Rookie team.

The Sabres close out their stretch of 7 straight road games next Tuesday night in Montreal.
