The Buffalo Sabres seemed to run out of gas in their game with the Boston Bruins Sunday night at First Niagara Center.  The Sabres gave up a third period power play goal to break a 1-1 tie and the Bruins went on to a 3-1 victory.

The Sabres were coming off of a game the night before against the Islanders in New York while the Bruins game at home against Tampa was postponed.  So the Bruins came in fresh while the Sabres showed their fatigue late in the game.

Tyler Ennis scored the lone Buffalo goal on a feed from Drew Stafford, but that's all they could manage.

The loss ends a modest two-game winning streak.  The Sabres are in Ottawa on Tuesday night then are back home on Friday to face the Bruins again.
