The Buffalo Sabres are inviting fans to grow playoff beards for charity.  It's been a long-time tradition in the NHL for players to grow beards during the playoffs until they win the Stanley Cup or until their team is eliminated.  The Sabres are inviting their fans to grow beards along with them during the Buffalo Sabres Beard-a-thon to benefit the Buffalo Sabres Foundation which each year supports non-profit agencies in WNY including: SABAH, Camp Good Days, Carly’s Club, Summit Educational Resources, Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo, Cradle Beach Camp, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie County and many more.

Last season, 573 fans “grew one for the team” and raised over $18,000 for charity.  If you'd like to enroll in the Sabres Beard-a-thon,  you can do it here:   Beard-a-thon enrollment
