Sabres Have Showed Interest In Buying Rochester Americans

The AP has reported that The Buffalo Sabres have signed a letter of intent to buy the Rochester Americans.

The Americans were the Buffalo Sabres farm team through the 07-08 season and the sale would reunite them with the Sabres.  However, the Sabres currently have an agreement with the Portland Pirates that continues through the 2013-14 season.
