They may talk a good game.  They keep speaking about the things they need to do to break out of their tailspin, but they just don't do it.  Thursday night it looked like the Buffalo Sabres just flat out quit.  By the end of the game there were hardly enough fans in the building to even boo because most of them had already left. The 7-0 loss to the Minnesota Wild was the Sabres ninth straight loss - a franchise record.

The Sabres just didn't do anything right in this one.  Defensively, offensively, special teams all were horrendous.  The Sabres gave up two power play goals and one short handed.  They were outshot 37-18 by a team that came in with six straight losses themselves.

One of the major problems with the Sabres is they're constantly out of position.  Even so they managed to be in position to deflect two shots into their own net.  You can't even say it was their worst loss of the season because there are so many other games just like it.  They just don't learn from their mistakes.

Injuries, illness, inexperience...there are a lot of excuses they can use, but one of these days they have to play the way their loyal fans expect.  This is not what fans come to see.  It's an embarrassment.
