Ryan OReillys 1951 Chevy Pick-up truck [Ryan OReilly Instagram][/caption]Less than a month after signing a seven-year, $52.5 million contract with the Buffalo Sabres, Ryan O'Reilly suddenly is a huge headache for the Sabres.  He was arrested last week in Lucan, Ontario, after allegedly crashing his classic 1951 Chevy pick-up truck into the side of a Tim Horton's at 4 a.m., driving away from the scene, then running away on foot along with a passenger.

Ontario Provincial Police arrested him and charged him with impaired driving.  The Sabres issued a short statement on Monday night, "“We are aware of the reports regarding the incident involving Ryan O’Reilly last week. We are currently in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment until we have spoken with all parties involved.”

With so much positive news surrounding the Sabres the last few weeks, especially with more than 17,000 fans showing up for a scrimmage last Friday night, one thing the Sabres don't need is a guy who's expected to be a team leader to act so immaturely.  You can only hope it's a small blip on the radar screen, something that will never happen again.
