Victories have been few and far between this season, but for a change, the Buffalo Sabres skate off the ice with a win. They spotted the Winnipeg Jets a 2-0 lead early in the second period. Most nights this season that would have been enough to beat the Sabres, but they battled back scoring four unanswered goals to beat the Jets 4-2.

Steve Ott finally got the Sabres on the board to cut the Jets lead in half 2-1. Then in the third, it was all Buffalo, with Marcus Foligno tying it early, Matt Moulson giving Buffalo the lead on the power play and Matt Ellis getting the clinching goal, as the Sabres scored more than one goal for the first time in seven games.

The Sabres remain home to host Boston Thursday night.
