I can't recall the fans ever more angry than after the Buffalo Sabres 2-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday night at First Niagara Center.  I heard fans vowing never to waste their money on a Sabres game again.  Others complaining about the coach, some complaining about the players.I think too much blame is being heaped onto the coach because most of the team spent most of the game doggin' it.  I didn't see a whole lot of effort against one of the worst teams in the league, but then again it's getting hard to gauge the Sabres because they have become one of the worst teams in the league.

Are the players trying to get the coach fired?  There's been some talk of that.  If they are, they're a bunch of overpaid brats.  I always say how do you justify an effort like that to a fan who can only afford to go to one game a year and last night was it.  It leaves an awful bitter taste in your mouth when you go to a game to see your favorite players play hockey and they come up with an effort like that.

The fans were in a surly mood right off the bat after Winnipeg scored exactly one minute into the game and the Sabres spent the rest of the night trying to catch up.  Jason Pominville scored the lone Buffalo goal.

So that's 11 losses in 17 games this season.  Pretty pathetic.  The Sabres are in Toronto on Thursday night.
