The Buffalo Sabres made it tough on themselves by giving up a 2-0 lead and allowing the Montreal Canadiens to storm back with a pair of third period goals, but in overtime on the power play Steve Ott scored his second goal of the game to give the Sabres a 3-2 win.

The Sabres scored twice in the opening 20 minutes with Ott opening the scoring and Tyler Ennis scoring late in the period for a 2-0 lead.  But maybe playing a little too cautiously the Sabres allowed the Candiens to take over control of the game.  The Canadiens with 15 shots in the third period and scoring on two of them to tie it.

Jonas Enroth got the start in goal and was spectacular at times stopping 33 of 35 shots for the game.

It's just Buffalo's third win in the past nine games.  The Sabres are back home to host Toronto on Thursday night, then right back to Montreal on Saturday.
