Sagging Pants Will Cost You $50 in Louisiana

I'm sure you've seen them. The sagging, drooping pants that seem to have become a fashion trend. I have no idea how some of these guys can even walk without falling over! Some call this offensive, as often times their underwear is exposed. This may look cool to some, but, now it's going to cost them at least in one town.

In a recent 8-1 council vote..

Louisiana's Terrebonne Parish passed an ordinance this week to ban saggy pants in public...despite divergent opinions in the community.

If you are caught, you face a fine up to $50 for the first offense, and the judges will have the discretion to add any additional fine/jail time.

I'm sure the belt company will be pleased to hear this!
