Since last Friday's movie theater massacre in Colorado, gun sales have jumped by 43 percent!  Firearm instructors are also seeing a spike in those interested in getting proper training to carry a concealed weapon.  One employee at Rocky Mountain Guns and Ammo said that, "It's been insane" (regarding the floods of people interested in acquiring a gun).  The morning following the shooting, there were roughly 20 people waiting outside of the store before it opened, ready to purchase a gun. The store owner added that Monday was their busiest day all year and now firearm classes are booked for three straight weeks.

According to the Denver Post, The Colorado Bureau of Investigation approved nearly 3,000 background checks for those interested in purchasing guns between last Friday and Sunday.
