Sam Hunt's debut album 'Leave the Night On' is set for an Oct. 27 release, but fans can get an early taste via a four-track sampler, dubbed 'X2C.'

Hunt's debut single, 'Leave the Night On,' is currently in the Top 25, and it just keeps climbing. To make the most of the song while it's red hot, Hunt has decided to release it on 'X2C,' along with three other songs -- all of which he co-wrote.

'Leave the Night On' has proven to be a smashing success for the country newcomer, having sold more than 197,000 copies in just a month since its official release. 'X2C' will include the hit in addition to 'Ex to See,' 'House Party' and 'Breakup in a Small Town.' The release is considered just a preview of whats to come from Hunt's debut album on MCA Nashville.

Hunt isn't just writing songs for himself, though. Before he started gaining success as an artist, he was making hits as a songwriter. He's written for Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and Billy Currington -- Hunt is partly responsible for 'Come Over,' 'Cop Car' and 'We Are Tonight,' respectively. He's also learning from some greats, as the new face has had the opportunity to tour with Little Big Town and David Nail.

This fall, Hunt will join Kip Moore and Charlie Worsham on the CMT on Tour: Up in Smoke run. The tour kicks off Sept. 25 in New York City. 'X2C' will be available for purchase on Aug. 12.
