Scotty McCreery And Lauren Alaina Set To Release Debut Albums [VIDEOS]

I thought this last season of American Idol was one the best in recent memory. I loved the new panel of judges with Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler. I also really enjoyed seeing a couple of country type singers in the competition too and they were Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery. Unless you have been hiding under a rock somewhere you know that Scotty was the winner of Idol and Lauren was the runner up. They are both extrordinary talents.

Both Scotty and Lauren are getting ready to release their debut albums in October. Winner Scotty's album will be in stores on October 4th. His album will be called "Clear As Day." Scotty's first single "I Love You This Big" is climbing the charts, you can hear the song right here on WYRK. Scotty said his album will have old country influences and will have some upbeat contemporary songs.

Lauren Alaina will release her debut album called "Wildflower" one week after Scotty's album comes out on October 11th. Lauren's album has a mixture of songs and will cater to lots of people.

Lauren and Scotty have had a very busy summer being on the Idol's Live Tour. They cut their tracks at many different studios throughout the United States because of the limited free time they had while touring. Both Scotty and Lauren recently released music videos for their current singles. Check them out below as we get ready for the releases of their albums.
