Scotty McCreery + Friends Victims Of Armed Robbery

Scotty McCreery fell victim to an armed robbery while visiting his friends at North Carolina State University over the weekend.

Scotty, a student of the university, allegedly was with his friends in their Raleigh apartment when it was held up by three men who broke in.

Police say the robbery occurred just before 2 a.m. Nobody was hurt, but the men did make off with wallets and cellphones.

Scotty’s management says Scotty is okay and are working to release more information regarding the robbery.  Scotty had this to say about the robbery

"Yes, it was definitely a very scary night. Luckily, my friends and I are safe and the Raleigh PD is on the case.
I will share more when the time is right, but as of now we do not want to do or say anything that could hinder the investigation. Thanks to everyone for the prayers and support. A huge thank you to the Raleigh PD for their quick response and hard work in solving this case."

This must have been a terrifying experience -- I'm so glad no one was harmed.
