Servers, Bartenders Could Start Making More Money in New York State!

Starting next week, you're getting more money!!

Everyone knows that if you are server, bartender or get tips at a job in New York State, your employer may be allowed to pay you less than minimum wage. Governor Andrew Cuomo is set to include a proposal to end tip credits toward minimum wage and now people will see more money in their basic paycheck.

At the end of next week in Buffalo the minimum wage will be $10.40 an hour, but $7.50 hour for tipped workers.
