There is no mistaking that Shane Owens is a country boy. The deep-voiced singer showcases his country roots in a new performance video for "Country Never Goes Out of Style," which is premiering exclusively at Taste of Country.

Owens is dressed in a black button-down shirt and cowboy hat in the clip. His voice is memorable over a simple acoustic arrangement as he sings of still wearing Wranglers, boots and his John Deere hat. The video was directed by Steve Popovich and filmed by Think Engine Studios at Cowboy Arms Hotel & Recording Spa in Nashville, Tenn.

“Country Never Goes Out of Style” was written by Galen Griffin, Jason Patrick Matthews and Kerry Kurt Phillips. It appears on Owens' new album, Where I'm Comin' From.

"Besides being written by a dear friend, this song is a real country song that James Stroud and I decided was a must for the album," Owens tells Taste of Country. "It represents the traditional country sound that everyone wants to hear. The lyrics are a direct reflection of the way I live every day, and it talks about everything I love -- Wrangler jeans, Ford pickup trucks, fishing at the honey hole, hanging with my sweetheart and making homemade ice cream. Now, that’s country right there."
