Every year many students participate in their school's High School Musical.  In Western New York, there is a ceremony to celebrate some of the best.  It's called The Kenny Awards and it took place last Saturday at Shea's Performing Arts Center.

The Kenny's are presented by The Lipke Foundation and are named after Ken Lipke to celebrate some of the brightest high school musical performers in multiple categories including best male and female performers, supporting cast, ensemble, and more.

Huge congrats goes out to Starpoint High School for their performance of Mary Poppins.  They won The Kenny for Outstanding Musical Production which awards them a $5000 grant to be spent by only by their school's music department.
