Sinkhole Opens Up In East Aurora

A giant sinkhole has opened in the parking lot of Mikey Dees at  Main St and S Willow St in East Aurora. According to a tweet from WKBW, the sink hole was just temporarily fixed last week and the new repair cost will probably cost in the millions. The large amount of rain in Sunday caused the temporary stop gap that was put in to open up.

South Willow St at Main St is blocked off until further notice and pedestrians a vehicles should use caution in the area. Other areas in WNY also experienced road closures and flooding because of the rainfall Sunday.
