Many Buffalonians will be on hand later today at Delaware Park as four skydivers descend into the park to commemorate the War of 1812.  The commemoration is set to begin at 5:30 p.m., on the north side of the park. Why the north side? That's where 300 or more soldiers who fought in the war are buried.

The day's commemoration is also in recognition of 200 years of peace between the United States and Canada. The two countries were enemies at the time of the war.

The event will feature a concert by the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, fireworks, a fly-over by a C-130, a dove release, speeches and more!!
