‘Smash’ Gets A Second Season On NBC [VIDEO]

I tried really hard not to watch the new show ‘Smash’ thinking it would be too over the top but I’ve found myself drawn in and now I think I’m hooked so I was glad to hear that NBC renewed the series and will pick it up for another season. My friend Shari and I talk about this show every week and I have to say its fun to watch a show dealing with the ups and downs of producing a Broadway show. It stars Debra Messing of Will and Grace, Angelica Huston, and from American Idol Katherine McPhee. It’s not a full blown musical but it’s cool how they weave song into the show outside of the actual theater parts of the show. If you like music, drama and pretty people you may want to check out the show which follows ‘The Voice’ on Monday nights.
