Sunday Will Be Your Last Chance This Season To Skate At Canalside

If you've been thinking about getting out and taking advantage of the winter fun here in Buffalo, be aware that the skate rink at Canalside will be closing soon!

According to WIVB-TV, the skate rink will be closing after skating is done on Sunday.

We've certainly had more snow this year than we've had the past few years.  We've already gone past the 100" mark for 2018.  As a mater of fact, we've almost doubled the total from 2016.

But all good things must come to an end right?  So this week will be the last one for public ice skating, curling, and the ice bikes.

The good news is that it will re-open next year and they've always got a full calendar of events that happen year round.

As much as mother nature is fighting us on it, we are going to try to move on to spring!  Then summer, and concerts, and even more fun!  See you there!
