Sunny Sweeney Signs With New Label, Begins Working on New Album
Good news for country cutie Sunny Sweeney. The singer has signed a deal with Thirty Tigers and is about to start working on her new album, which will be her third.
Sweeney, formerly signed to Big Machine Records/Republic Nashville, released ‘Heartbreaker’s Hall of Fame’ and ‘Concrete’ during her tenure there. But she’s now moved on and is excited about the future.
In a press statement, the ‘From a Table Away’ singer said, “I have long been a fan of Thirty Tigers and the amazing roster of talent they have worked with through the years, and am thrilled to become part of their family. I can’t wait to share my new music with my fans!’
The feeling is decidedly mutual, as Thirty Tigers president and co-founder David Macias sang Sweeney’s praises, saying, “Most of the time, it’s the managers or attorneys that initiate discussions about artist relationships. In this case, I reached out, hat in hand, expressing how much we’d love to work with Sunny.”
He continued, “I’m such a fan of hers and I’m incredibly excited that she is joining the family. We’re looking forward to working with Sunny, as well as the incredibly talented team of people she’s surrounded herself with.”
Country fans are undoubtedly stoked to hear what Sweeney comes up with for her next album and her first for her new label home.
