Months ago when the song ‘Pontoon’ was released by Little Big Town I knew it would become the 2012 Summer Anthem and it exceeded the anthem status by hitting the top of the charts.  Little Big Town has their first number one single and the song also reached Platinum certification selling more than one million digital downloads.

Say "Pontoon" to any country music fan, and they can hum or sing a bit of the song for you.  Little Big Town's latest hit has become the first no. 1 song in the group's career. Sales of the single have been very strong; since being released about a month or two ago, "Pontoon" has logged more than 430,000 downloads!

Country artists are known for their ability to churn out ridiculously catchy tunes. That’s why when ABC needed a theme song for their new program ‘Good Afternoon America,’ they turned to Little Big Town — and boy did the group deliver.

I still watch the ‘Reba’ sitcom in reruns on Lifetime I miss that show and Reba on television but not for much longer.  Superstar Reba returns to network TV next fall in a new ABC sitcom called ‘Malibu Country’.  The show is based on a single mom (Reba) who relocates her family to Malibu to re-launch her singing career.

ABC will try to tap in to the success of “the Voice” and “American Idol” with a new show called “Duets”.  The show puts a different spin on the average singing competition.  Kelly Clarkson, Robin Thicke, Lionel Ritchie and Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles have all signed on and will travel across America to find singers to be their duet partners.  Every week, the celebrity and one of their "disco
